The Star Trek universe lot one of its more famous guest stars as Yvonne Craig died Monday at the age of 78 due to cancer. The actress is best know to Star Trek as the green Orion slave girl in the 3rd season episode "Whom Gods Destroy" while others may recognize her as Batgirl in the 60's Batman TV series. She never could quite get away from those two now iconic roles despite her film resume and multiple other TV appearances. Condolences to her family.

RIP Yvonne Craig
The Star Trek universe lot one of its more famous guest stars as Yvonne Craig died Monday at the age of 78 due to cancer.
