IESB.net recorded brief interviews with George Takei (Sulu), Nichelle Nichols (Uhura), and Walter Koenig (Chekov) after the the Scream Awards held last week about the casting of Star Trek XI.

Some highlights:
- Pointed out that John Cho is supposed to play "young" Sulu yet the actor is older then when Takei first took on the role but thinks he will be great in the role.
- Takei is amazed how much Zachary Quinto looks like Leonard Nimoy.
- Nichols thinks that Zoe Saldana is gorgeous and will "do a fine job." and to apply the best of "who [she] is." to the role.
- Koenig doesn't know anything about the film except what have read in the media.
- None of the "older" cast has had a discussion with cast equivilants.
