Star Trek: Discovery Second Half Scheduled

It was known that Star Trek: Discovery was going to be broken into to halves, much like how cable shows do their seasons, often with 6 to 9 month gap between halves. For Discovery, the break starts after this Sunday's episode of Star Trek: Discovery but fortunately it will not be nearly as long. CBS has revealed that the show will complete the 15-episode season starting January 7, 2018 with the 10th episode called "Despite Yourself". The synopsis of the episode is "While in unfamiliar territory, the U.S.S. Discovery crew is forced to get creative in their next efforts to survive opposing and unprecedented forces and return home." With the remaining episodes airing each Sunday, the first season of Discovery will end on February 11.

  1. I'm guessing the cliffhanger tonight will see Discovery stranded in the Mirror Universe, and the January "premiere" will be the Frakes-directed MU episode.

    I hope so, anyway!
