Star Trek: Prodigy Renewed for Season 2

Star Trek: Prodigy, currently airing on Paramount+, has received a second season renewal. The second season will also be a 10 episode season. No premiere date this early but likely be late next year. As for this first season, new episodes will continue to come out until November 18. It will then take a holiday break with remaining five episodes coming out each week starting January 6. At some point next year, the series will also air on Nickelodeon. For reasons that barely made sense in the 80s & 90s and definitely make no sense now, most cartoons get cancelled after around 65 episodes (see relaunched DuckTales as an example) so at current pace of 10 ep seasons, the show could last for possibly last for 7 seasons.
