According to ComingSoon.net, Jimmy Bennett, age 12, has joined the cast of Star Trek XI, playing the very young James T Kirk. Bennett might be a familiar face from Poseidon, Evan Almighty and few other films. I guess that means he will be working with Chris Hemsworth and Jennifer Morrison who play the parents of Kirk.
