New Writer Joins Star Trek TV Series

TrekCore is reporting that Kirsten Beyer is joining the Star Trek All Access writers room for next year's TV series. Beyer has written nine Star Trek: Voyager novels since 2009 that continues to adventures of the Voyager crew after the end of the TV series. More importantly, like most Star Trek authors, she has an ability to create interesting stories, characters, favors continuity, and has a deep knowledge of all things Star Trek. The books may seem like an after thought but over the last decade they have maintained their own fairly tight continuity between themselves and the TV series as all of them have moved on to tell stories set after each of their respective TV series. Without the constraint of those series the results have been a long series of books that are very fun to read.
