David Semel Named Pilot Director of Star Trek

The Star Trek TV series continues to move forward with David Semel chosen to direct the pilot episode of the series. The pilot director is often ultimately responsible for creating the look and feel of a show so how he chooses to direct the episode will become the guide for future episode directors to follow. His pilot track record includes Madam Secretary, Code Black, Person of Interest, Intelligence, Heroes, and more. It will be interesting what the final result will be when the series premiere in January 2017.
