Star Trek: Picard Renewed for Season 2

The first season is still 10 days away but that didn't stop CBS All Access from giving Star Trek: Picard a second season order. The renewal was likely helped along by a $20/45 million tax break from the California Film Commission. Since season 1 still has to debut on January 23, there is no info on season 2 filming, story, release date or anything of those kind of details.
