Borg Queen Returns for Star Trek: Picard Season 2

Looks like the big bad of season 2 of Star Trek: Picard will be the Borg Queen.  Annie Wersching (Bosch, Runaways) has been cast to play the character for the series.  It is assumed this is the same character (rather than a new queen) that was played by Alice Krige in Star Trek: First Contact and Voyager Endgame episode. The character was also played by Susanna Thompson between the movie and the Voyager series finale.

No other information was provided but safe to assume its likely a multiple episode character arc. The Borg where first introduced in The Next Generation season 2 episode "Q Who" as an attempt by Q to show Picard how dangerous the universe is.  Q is in the new season of Picard also. The consequences of Q's actions was this is how the Borg learned where to find new planets to conquer setting up the battles that would follow for the series and movies.
