Star Trek Day 2023 Plans from Paramount

Star Trek Day 2023 is moving ahead despite strikes on Friday, September 8. This will mark the 57th anniversary of the franchise back on September 8, 1966. Paramount's plans for the day include a special screening of Star Trek: Lower Decks in select theaters in the US, UK and Canada, the two premiere episodes of Star Trek: Strange New Worlds airing on CBS that evening, a look back at Star Trek: The Animated Series for its 50th anniversary and of course merchandise. Based on previous seasons, its usually a two or so hour long pre-recorded video segements with cast, crew and fans of Star Trek as they discuss certain aspect of the franchise and offer teases of what is to come.
