Happy Star Trek Day 2024

Today is the 58th anniversary of the premiere of Star Trek on September 8, 1966. To celebrate Star Trek Day, Paramount is making the premiere episode of most of their Star Trek shows available for free to watch on YouTube (playlist). They are also doing "pop-up activations" for fans in Chicago, Vancouver, and Berlin for "Take the Chair, Make An Impact". 

This is a global campaign with Star Trek making a donation to Code.org, DoSomething.org, and Outright International while encouraging the same for fans. Additionally the official Star Trek Shop will donate 25% of sales on select items to those charities. More details on the charities and the pop-up are on StarTrek.com.
