Anton Yelchin, who plays Chekov in Star Trek, has landed another franchise film. He will play the young Kyle Reese in the next Terminator movie. Kyle Reese is the guy that will father John Connor after going back in time to save Linda Hamilton's character in the first Terminator film. Christian Bale plays the now adult John Connor and its directed by McG (Charlies' Angels).I know only indirectly Star Trek related but the news on the ST front is far and few between and personally I am looking forward to the next Terminator film. Also a bit jealous as he gets to play in the Star Trek and Terminator sandboxes and I don't.
