It looks like it has potential - potential to be realy amazing or potential to be an high action/low content movie. I hope its the former!

Wow, I'm intrigued... I've never been a Star Trek fan, but after this trailer, I'm stoked. If JJ Abrams can make this franchise appeal to the audience outside the fanbase, then that's awesome.

Don't know about anyone else but I just visited the official movie site and none of the promised changes have happened yet. Says it'll be another day before the new changes take into effect and if memory serves me correctly...the new trailer was supposed to be uploaded onto the website today. "What in bloody blazes is this?"
