A Look at Two Star Trek Beyond Aliens

As part of First Contact Day, Star Trek Beyond director Justin Lin tweeted this picture of two aliens that will appear in the movie. No other details about were provided about the pic. First Contact Day "occurred" on April 5, 2063 when Vulcans landed on Earth and met after the first warp 1 flight of the Phoenix as depicted in Star Trek: First Contact. The two become allies which eventually leads to the creation of the Federation (sort of shown in the final season of Star Trek: Enterprise). Its "holiday" is for fun among trekkers but to me it also provides a nice reminder of the Vulcan principle of IDIC - Infinite Diversity in Infinite Combinations.
