Masterpiece Lego Klingon Bird of Prey

For reasons only corporate executives could explain, the chances of an official Star Trek license ever being granted to Lego is near zero. On the bright side that doesn't stop fans from creating the occasional epic version of Star Trek ships. The latest is the classic Klingon Bird of Prey from Star Trek IV: The Voyage Home lego-ized using 25,000 bricks that was built and tweaked over the course of six years to bring ;this beautiful creation by brick master Kevin J. Massive Masterpiece Lego USS Enterprise

If you are a fan of the JJ Abrams' Enterprise and Lego you might want to check out the latest creation from brick master Chris Melby. Over the course of 8 months and 18,000 Lego he built this re-creation of the USS Enterprise that is amazingly stud free so it retains the clean look and lines of the movie inspiration. The final result is 68" long, 29" wide and 32" tall with the saucer section being 29" in diameter. This is a masterpiece and really makes me wish that Paramount would take the Trek license for brick builds and hand it to Lego. (via Brothers Brick)

Lego USS Reliant NCC-1864

The USS Reliant (NCC-1864) recieves a nice homage care of Legomanica Christer Nyberg. The Reliant is the star ship that Khan hijacks in Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan in his effort to destroy Kirk and the Enterprise. The ship was built from more than 10 thousand bricks. Lego of Spock's Jellyfish Ship

It took long enough but finally some enterprising Lego masters decided to create a model of a Star Trek ship out of Legos. The object is the Jellyfish, the ship that Spock used in Star Trek comics to stop an out of control supernova that had already destroyed Romulus and was about to destroy the Federation. The use of the craft led to a rip in time that caused Nero and himself to go back in time and hop universes and led to the events depicted in the recent movie.
