Star Trek: Strange New Worlds Begins Production, Adds 5 Castmembers
After long delay due to COVID, Star Trek: Strange New Worlds has announced its started production via a video with the cast of the film. It includes the five new additions to the cast with Babs Olusanmokun (Black Mirror, Dune), Christina Chong (Tom and Jerry, Black Mirror), Celia Rose Gooding (Jagged Little Pill), Jess Bush (Skinford, Les Norton) and Melissa Navia (Dietland, Billions). No details on what roles they will be playing was revealed. The release date of the series to Paramount+ (new name for CBS All Access) is currently not scheduled.

Star Trek: Strange New worlds is based on the years Captain
Christopher Pike manned the helm of the U.S.S. Enterprise. The series
will feature fan favorites from season two of Star Trek: Discovery,
Anson Mount as Captain Christopher Pike, Rebecca Romijn as Number One
and Ethan Peck as Science Officer Spock. The series will follow Captain
Pike, Science Officer Spock and Number One in the years before Captain
Kirk boarded the U.S.S. Enterprise, as they explore new worlds around
the galaxy.
