Below are three new TV spots for Star Trek Into Darkness that emphasizes the solid reviews and bigger action pieces of the movie.

Saldana, Pegg Interviews, Movie Stills and Featurette

Star Trek Into Darkness is now less then a day away from release in the US. The marketing campaign continues. Collider has posted their Zoe Saldana interview from the London premiere here. She spoke about the set jokers, that learning Klingon was harder then Na'vi (from Avatar), and few other things.

Simon Pegg was interview by i09.com and as seem to be the case with him, the interviews seem more details (and somewhat spoilerish) and open then with the other actors. Its like his inner geek causes the interviews to geek out more instead of the often generic nothing questions the others get. In his interview he goes from talking about his "futuristic leisure suit", to talking about some of the Trek nods in the film, the motivation of Scotty pushing Kirk, how movie explores Kirk's too quick promotion, the utopian future of Trek, and Scotty's friend Keenser. Four New TV Spots for Star Trek Into Darkness

The TV spots continue for Star Trek Into Darkness with four more for your viewing pleasure. In addition is a mini-featurette as JJ Abrams describes his vision and two new images from the movie have been released by Paramount. If interested, you can find a gallery of pictures from the Mexico City premiere of the movie here and here. The US one is set for next Tuesday.

Sulu and Marcus Characters Videos, 4 German TV Spots for STID

Today brings us six new videos to promote Star Trek Into Darkness. The first two are brief character profiles of Sulu (John Cho) and Dr. Carol Marcus (Alice Eve) as the actors and JJ Abrams comment on the characters. After that are four 10 second long German TV spots that have a few quick new scenes.

New TV Spot, Two Behind the Scenes B-Roll For Star Trek Into Darkness

Three more videos for your enjoyment as the North America premiere of Star Trek Into Darkness is just days away from its European release. The first is the latest TV spot and the next two are B-roll footage as Abrams and the cast filmed certain parts of the movie. The B-roll is literally just a guy on set filming them at work.

New STID Clip, 3D Trailer, NA Release Moved A Day

Two more videos to promote the upcoming release of Star Trek Into Darkness. The movie has started to open in various parts of Europe with more this Friday while the North American release has been moved up a full day to May 16 with midnight screenings. The change is likely because the "fan" screenings for IMAX and 3D showings start May 15th around 8pm so theaters probably pushed to go ahead with midnight showings since have the staff on hand anyway for those early screenings. Any case below is a new clip between Kirk and Uhura in a turbolift. After that is the 3D version of the third trailer for the movie but it does required 3D glasses to enjoy it.

First Look at Star Trek 2.0 Klingons and Scotty Clip

Two more videos to promote the upcoming release of Star Trek Into Darkness. The first is a "Message From John Harrison" that focuses on Uhura. The video itself is notable because it finally provides a look at what the Star Trek 2.0 Klingon looks like without his mask. The result...reminds me of the Enemy Mine alien for some reason. The second video is a brief clip of Scotty and Kirk rushing to engineering as the Enterprise is literally falling apart while rotating in space.

4th Clip, 3 TV Spots, 2 Featurettes, and 1 Poster for Star Trek Into Darkness

Star Trek Into Darkness is just days away from its Europe premiere and 10 days from the North America premiere. That means lots of videos. The latest is a new clip that introduces Carol Marcus, three new TV spots with new scenes, features and a poster. The 1st feature is mostly a sales pitch from JJ Abrams while the other one focuses on Scotty with Simon Pegg talking about the character and the movie. Star Trek Into Darkness Clip #3

A new clip from Star Trek Into Darkness has been posted by Paramount. In the clip, Kirk yells at John Harrison who plays it cool while in the Enterprise brig. Not entirely sure what the last line about 72 reasons means. His operatives on the ship? Ship has a skeleton crew of 72 that is in danger? STID is out on May 9th in most of Europe and May 17th in North America. (Clip 1 | Clip 2)

Star Trek Into Darkness Kirk Featurette and Latin America TV Spot

Below are two new videos for Star Trek Into Darkness. The first is a character profile on James T Kirk with prev comments from Chris Pine and JJ Abrams while the second video is a TV spot for the film from Latin America that includes new scenes. Message for Spock Video and More STID Posters

Joining the previous "Message from John Harrison" analyzing Kirk is a new one that focuses on Spock (below). In the video is a few new scenes from the movie including Spock having a not really very Vulcan reaction to something. In addition two new posters have been released for Chekov and Scotty. There are really two sets of character posters. The first is the colorful version (below) that is toned to each color and the other is a gold hued set.

Star Trek Into Darkness Japanese Trailer

TrekMovie.com has posted the Japanese trailer for Star Trek Into Darkness that is chock full of new scenes. Enough that they have created a shot-by-shot analysis that you can find here. Of note is what looks like a new warp effect for the Enterprise. A new CGI design for warp is a standard for the movies and TV shows as each one had a slightly different version then the one before with the distant star flash being the most known version. A video showing them all is also below.

Star Trek Into Darkness Clip #2 and New Posters

A new Star Trek Into Darkness clip has been released online. Like the previous one, this one expands on a segment from the trailers that show an Enterprise shuttle trying to escape an unknown enemy. In addition 7 new character posters have been released. Four are re-use of previous images while the other three feature Sulu, Chekov and Marcus characters. They can be found here.

Star Trek Into Darkness Volcano Clip

The first clip from Star Trek Into Darkness has premiered online. The scene is from the first 15 minute or so of the film when Spock is trying to save the local civilization from a volcano eruption while Kirk has to decide how the try to save Spock.

Star Trek Into Darkness TV Spot, Video Message, Tour of the Bridge and Tickets On Sale

A few bits of promotional material has been released online for Star Trek Into Darkness. We have a new "Message from John Harrison" that really is the villain version of the Christopher Pike "Humility" speech that was part of the trailers, a new TV spot with a few new scenes, and a tour of the bridge of the Enterprise. The two videos are below and the hi-res images of the bridge are at i09.com. Last, tickets are now online for the May 17th North American release of the movie. You can hit up the official website or your favorite theater site or location to purchase them.

Star Trek XI Trailers, TV Spots and Posters

As a way to clear up the front page, putting all the posters, trailers and TV spots that I could find. To my knowledge there is 1 teaser, about 3 theatrical trailers and 15 TV spots but sadly not able to find all of them as users either pulled some of them down or Paramount had them yanked and just generally didn't make it easy to create a "collection" of all the spots so people could view them which strikes me as a wasted opportunity with the DVD and Blu-ray editions of the movie. Whoever works for Marketing at Paramount really should create a YouTube channel that makes it easy to find and distribute their advertisments in HD format.
